“About us and what we expect from our guests

The Köpi is an self-organized, independent and non-profit living space and cultural project. People who are involved and work here do that voluntarily in their spare time and not for money. We also don’t get any financial funding from the city of Berlin or the state.

Everybody involved here works for our common ideals: to have an non-commercial space in which people treat each other with respect. Racist and sexist behaviour will not be tolerated here. That means we expect you, our guests, to be respectfull with each other no matter of someone’s background, sexual orientation, religion or gender.

Violent behaviour like physical and sexual attacks/assaults will definitely not be accepted and will be lead to the offenders being thrown out.

Whenever you notice situations of discrimination and /or harassment, we expect you to act on your own initiative – the responsibility for a respectful cooperation between all of us has to be taken from everybody.
Should you feel unable to deal with a situation by yourself you can go to the people at the entrance or the bars, they will try to help you.
